In case of discrepancy, the Italian version prevails.

Here is everything that happens to our readers’ data.

Who the controller is

Tinke (SMART – Strategy Marketing Technology S.r.l.), the company that created la fagIAnata. For any question about your data: contact form.

Cookies

Without your consent the site sets no cookies. In your browser it only stores what it needs to work the way you chose, and none of it leaves your device, except the chat code, which goes to Mimir when you use the assistant. Here is everything there is:

Name

Where

Whose

What it’s for

How long

fagianata-consenso

in the browser

la fagIAnata

your choice about analytics (yes or no, with the date), so we don’t ask again

12 months after a yes, 6 after a no

fagianata-tema

in the browser

la fagIAnata

whether you chose the dark theme

until you change it

fagianata-disciplina

in the browser

la fagIAnata

which discipline to show in the race strip

until you change it

…-chat-session-token
,
…-chat-thread-id
,
…-all-chats
,
…-chat-auth-token

in the browser

Mimir, for the assistant

the code of your session and conversation with the assistant

until you clear them from your browser

_ga
,
_ga_DQS14BPCQY

cookie

Google Analytics

counting visits, only if you accepted

up to 2 years

Fonts are hosted on our own server: no calls to Google. We do not use Gravatar, social media buttons or embedded videos that load external services.

The assistant

The speech bubble at the bottom right is the fagIAno, la fagIAnata’s assistant. It runs on Mimir, Tinke’s assistant platform: what you write goes to Mimir’s servers, which use it to look up the answer in our data and write it with artificial intelligence.

The assistant sets no cookies: in your browser it only keeps the code of your session and conversation, to find it again as you browse (they are in the cookie table). Please don’t write personal data to it: for questions about your data, or to ask us to delete what you wrote, use the contact form.

Analytics

To know how many of us there are and what we read we use Google Analytics 4 (Google Ireland Limited), but only if you accept it from the banner at the bottom of the page. If you decline, or don’t choose, Google Analytics doesn’t start: no Google script, no cookies.

If you accept, Google Analytics sets the
_ga
and
_ga_*
cookies in your browser, which last up to two years, and collects the pages you open, where you came from, your type of device and browser and your approximate city. Google Analytics 4 does not store IP addresses. The data may go to the United States, under the safeguards of the EU–US Data Privacy Framework. People logged in to the newsroom dashboard are not counted.

You can change your mind at any time from the «Cookie preferences» link at the bottom of every page: if you decline after accepting, we remove the Google Analytics cookies right away. Closing the banner with the X counts as a no. After a no we won’t ask again for six months; a yes lasts twelve months, then we ask again, and we ask right away if what we collect changes. We also note each choice on our own server, to be able to prove consent as the GDPR requires: the date, yes or no and the random code your browser gave itself, with no IP address or anything else. These notes are deleted after 25 months.

Newsletter

If you subscribe to the Monday Sprint, we keep only your email address, to send you the newsletter. Delivery goes through Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), which processes the address on our behalf on servers in the European Union, with double opt-in and without tracking opens and clicks. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link at the bottom of every email.

Contact form

When you write to us, we keep your name, your email address, your publication or team if you provide one, and your message, only to reply to you. The message is deleted automatically after twelve months. We do not store your IP address.

Server logs

Like every website, our server logs the requests it receives (IP address, page, date) for security and to defend itself against attacks. The logs stay on our server in Germany and are deleted automatically after 14 days.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to see, correct or delete your data, or to object to its use (Articles 15–22 of the GDPR), by writing to us through the contact form. If you think we are not handling your data properly, you can turn to the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (the Italian Data Protection Authority).

Last updated: 12 October 2026.

["post-10","page","type-page","status-publish","hentry
["GET
